Who is AutoPROS Columbia?
We have over 50+ years of combined automotive experience in highly competitive markets, and are convinced that we truly understand what our customers really want: quality cars, great prices, and a stress- free transaction. Our team members have worked in nearly every capacity in high volume, very successful dealerships including sales representative, finance manager, Excel manager (customer service), transaction administrator, sales manager, used car manager, and general manager. While these titles are sometimes necessary, we feel that we can take care of our customers more effectively as a team. Everyone on our dealership staff from the receptionist to the owner has the same title: “team member.” Our goal is to make sure our customers are completely satisfied with their experience at AutoPROS Columbia.
Where do our cars come from?
We have many different sources for the cars and trucks we stock. Vehicles may be local trades as well as purchased at dealer sales, off-lease sales, directly from large franchise dealers, from credit unions and banks. The vehicles we retail are usually late model (2005 and newer) and have good miles and may still be under a factory warranty. We resell cars with clean titles only, this means we never retail salvage, rebuilt, reconstructed, insurance claim, flood or other gray market vehicles unless specifically noted. What fees are there besides the purchase price?
Fees include taxes, and documentation charges. If you live in South Carolina you must pay 5.0% (max $500) of the sales price of the car as a tax to the state. There is electronic filing and tag fee of $169. There is also a $599 doc fee for handling paperwork, filing titles, mailing and copying costs, this fee is fixed and non negotiable.
Buy Backs: In the event of a "customer buy back", there is a restocking fee of $450 plus .25 cents per mile. This fee is applied to expense of detail, conditioning, service check, remarketing to internet, etc..
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards (max $3000), certified cashier checks drawn on US Banks in US funds. We also accept financing checks from your local bank or credit union, we are also able to arrange financing for you.
Do you do any financing?
Yes, we offer rates as low as 3.9%. Wells Fargo is one of our preferred lenders.
We are also happy to work with your local bank or credit union to get the paperwork processed and your deal financed. In most cases it takes less than a day to get the paperwork finished.
What does the "autoPROS Certified Warranty" include?
autoPROS Certified Warranty vehicles comes with a 3 month 3,000 miles powertrain warranty*, 172 point inspection and Clean CarFax report.
Qualifying vehicles: 5 years and back from current model year, so 2017 minus 5 model years is 2013, 65000 miles or less, Clean CarFax (minor will qualify)

What type of service do you do to the cars before selling them?
All cars are professionally cleaned before sale. If there are any mechanical issues noted during inspection, they are addressed before the car is sold. Any issues that we elect not to fix are disclosed to the customer.
How do I know the car is in the condition stated?
We are experts in the auto business and have personally inspected thousands of vehicles. We will do our best to point out the shortcomings in the cars and trucks that we sell. We are so confident in the vehicles that we sell that we give you a three month/three thousand mile warranty at no charge. You have the option to upgrade this warranty if you like. We also offer a three day, no questions asked exchange program* to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
